Human Potential, Vol. 1 | AI Isn't the Story. We Are.

When we talk about human potential, what often gets missed is how we got here. The storied layers of our evolution from years past to now. What we tend to talk about instead is what we need to improve on to become this or that. It can be a bit….myopic at times.

Where we are vibrationally hardly ever makes an entrance into the conversation as well. Neither does the recognition of the energetic tools at our disposal and how we can use them to create anything from a good day to a bridge across a vast valley to connect millions of people.

We forget just how creative we are. That we built the bridges that still amaze the eye. That we once asked the question what if we could fly and then invented planes and later space shuttles that would carry us to the moon. We pondered on the idea of what if we could talk to people across the world. First, we took to our horses, then by telegraph and now–not so far in the future in the greater scheme of things—we grab a small device and text someone thousands of miles away.

Those are just a few examples of how we've evolved and it all started with the willingness to ask a simple question or have a daydream. That's just how it works. How we work.

We are fundamentally creative beings. And we just keep getting better!

Every day we are creating new amazing things that are mind-blowing. How? Because we're evolving. Because our energy is rising—yeah, it dips from time to time and everyone is in a different place but fundamentally the arc is up! The arc of human evolution trends up as our individual energy shoots up and down like the stock market—yet still up when you do the math.

WHERE THIS THOUGHT BEGAN

Several months ago, I was thinking about this while watching a YouTube video about AI-enabled robot assistants for the home or humanoid robots as they're called. It was an early market video, showing the potential as well as all the things that still needed to be worked out. The first place my mind went was the 2004 movie I, Robot when the main character walks into his grandma's house and see's a robot helping her. It then skipped back to one of my favorite childhood cartoons, The Jetsons, before coming back to the movie (yeah, my spirit tends to have a sense of humor that always tickles me).

Then my thoughts exploded.

Everything from a genuine 'wow' to 'oh my god, what we are doing?' circled in. Where I landed after a few days was—"this is just the beginning of something we've yet to allow ourselves to grasp".

To my delight, as I've made the rounds talking to friends and family about advances in AI, that thought has evolved and it tests one's ability to see beyond the noise of half full glasses (negative trends and media).

That thought is: 'It's pretty amazing that we're setting the stage to evolve our consciousness more powerfully en masse through the sheer existence of AI'.

I got a few side eyes for that; not going to lie! LOL! The more I thought about this though, the more my excitement grew. Like everything else, AI is a manifestation of our imagination. And like everything else, it's priming us for something even more interesting.

You see, what I don't believe is that AI is a threat to humanity. Like most things, it can be used as a positive tool to help us in remarkable ways, much like how the coal industry sped through the world and revolutionized transportation and energy consumption. And too, like most things, when used irresponsibly has had unintended consequences on the earth and humanity.

THE YIN AND THE YANG OF IT

When we zoom out and look at things like this from all perspectives, we begin to see the Yin and the Yang. The complexity of how we choose to embrace things and use our innate abilities and intuition with them.

We can choose without regard for the greater good to create something momentarily phenomenal yet hurts us in the long run. Or, we can inspect a little further, go a little deeper with our intuition and build something that's not only 100 times better but also supports humanity and the earth in wonderful ways.

It's all about the earnest intention which gets to the vibration.

How we choose in these scenarios is largely influenced by this little thing called belief—ok, maybe it's not so little!

Our beliefs are woven through every facet of creation, governing the outcomes for every individual that walks the earth. Take this a bit further and we understand that on a mass scale this impacts group dynamics, cities, economies, countries, etc. subscribed to specific beliefs. You could call these mental frameworks or schemas—or more simply, thought forms. And when we believe in even just the possibility of something better and match it with our intuition and intention, we create something even more spectacular.

A classic example is Albert Einstein, a man that believed there was more to be understood about time, space, and gravity when others considered his ideas unfounded and wild. A more recent example is what's come out of a study in northern Italy when someone asked the question—can we make music with plants? What they found is that the answer is yes! BACK TO US

Now back to human potential and AI. To believe that AI will doom us is to believe that our innate intuition, intelligence and capability is far inferior to artificial intelligence. This is why some of the more pervasive trends in media are honestly unfortunate. Instead of helping us to co-create meaningful possibilities it does the quite opposite and feeds on our fears.

You know that term – where attention goes, energy flows? Well, it's true not just for the individual. We do this all the time as a collective. You see where I'm going with this, right?

Why not instead imagine something greater? Trust in something better? Trusting that we are highly advanced beings tapping into our collective knowledge to build tools that support our advancement and the earth in wonderful ways.

How might we usher in extraordinary benefits for all if we allow the endless possibilities that delight us to intrigue our curiosity alone?

What if the most extraordinary chapter of human history is the one we're in right now? Not because of AI. Because of us. Because we imagined it could be true. We are standing at the edge of something we haven't yet named. And if history tells us anything, it's that we will rise to meet it — and then surpass it entirely.

That's what we do. That's who we are.
